The confirmation services held in the Salem church at Weinsberg Sunday were very largely attended, every seat n the large church being filled. The pastor, Rev. Julius Klingmann, was most earnest )n the charge he gave to the confirmands. The latter consisted of the following : Frederick Hornung, Otto Paul, Frederich Reichert, Ernest Zeeb, William Reimold, George Aprill, Otille Staelber, Ana Stierls, Emma Schaible, Lydia Kanrcher, Margeretta Furthmiller, Olga Laubengayer, Martha Jedele. After the solemn services, the homes of the members of the church were thrown open to the attending visitors from abroad, and their hospitality for which they are justly noted, made the stay of their visitors most pleasant. Among those from Ann Arbor were the following: The Misses Pauline and Annie Wurster, Lydia Stanger and Lydia Henne, William Henne and family, Jonathan Stanger and wife, Judge of Probate Newkirk and Register Peter J.
