HENRY HANER WAS VIOLENTLY INTERRUPTED.
Lightning Ran Down His Leg and the Violin Found a Resting Place Across the Room.
Henry Haner, of Augusta, must be a good lightning conductor. Last Wednesday he was playing his violin in the kitchen during a heavy thunder storm. While in the midst of a difficult passage a bolt struck the house passed through an open widow, struck Mr. Haner in the hip and passed down his leg, killed two cats and broke the kitchen stove in two in the middle. Mr. Haner was deposited in one corner of the room and his violin in the other. Mr. Haner felt no bad effects of his adventure and was around the next day as well as ever.
