The University Faculty made 15 Runs in One Inning Off Joclyn's Delivery--Prof. Johnson Caught a Foul and all the other Players Extinguished.

                                              ___________

"Batter up, " shouted Sank Cordon yesterday afternoon on Regents' field and J. E. Beal stepped up to the plate. Prof. A. W. Whitney twirled the sphere for the university "boys" and threw it so straight that it hit Beal's bat. Andy Mac could not stop it, Beal stole two more bags and crossed the plate on Joolyn's hit. Springer hits a foul high enough to allow Catcher Johnson to follow hie usual custom in taking off his glove and mask. He caught it. Col. Kent hit to third and Joclyn was arrested while stealing home. Sheehan and Hawkes retired the side.

Herr Bluemen Strauss walked to first but was put out on second. Prof. Lombard got a life, Reed captured first after three strikes, Lombard then came on Trueblood's sacrifice which Slauson handled easily and later he put out Prof. MacLaughin.

She scored at end of first inning was 2 to 1 in the High School's favor. A. J. Sawyer led off at bat for the High Schools, knocked a little grounder to third and a wild throw to first landed him safely. However, in the language of a southern "darkie" when Sawyer was traveling in the south, he was too fat and Beal ran bases for him. Evart Scott had a hole in his bat, so aid Slanson, Sawyer's substitute stole home.

 E. F. Johnson fouled out to Springer, followed by 'Whitney's drive for three bags and Florer's safe hit. Prof. Dow walked up to the plate with a pair of bloomers he got at the ladies' gym, and lined out a two bagger.
