Death of Mrs. Eunice S. Sweet.

Mrs. Eunice Ann Skidmore Sweet, of Waterloo, Jackson county, died May 27. She was born in Butternuts, Otsego county, New York, April 11, 1811. She was married to Lamech Sweet, December 9, 1830. In the fall of 1833, they came to Michigan, settling in the township of Dexter where they lived four years. They then moved to Waterloo township and established the home where they lived for over 54 years. Her husband died Dec. 15, 1894. Four children were born to them of whom three remain, to mourn their loss, EIcina A. Rogers, of Detroit, Hobart P., of Stockbridge, and Burtis W., of Waterloo, who resides on the old homestead. She also leaves one brother, Elnathan Skidmore, a well known Lyndon man, who is now the only one left of a family of 12.
