Wants A Divorce
Sarah Ensign, oí Ypsilanti, by her solicitor D. O. Girffin, has filed a bill of divorce from her husband Marshall Ensign. Her maiden name was Sarah Winstone. The couple were married April 13, 1875, and their union was blessed with eight children four ot whom are living, Daniel Ensign, 22 years old, Marshall Ensign, Aaron Ensign and Ruth Ensign. Great cruelty is charged which is alleged to have consisted in cruelly choking and bruising and striking the complainant. Also swearing and cursing the defendant in the presence of the children and that in the month of January 1898, the husband left his wife and has not supported her since. Judge Kinne issued an injunction restraining the husband from disposing of his personal property.

This morning a dead woodcock was found on E. Liberty st. near Bailey's shop. It had been killed by striking an electric light wire. Woodcocks are, night flyers. lt is at this time that they secure their food. The woodcock killed probably had his nest not far away.
