Monster Peach Tree

Kent county, Maryland, has the distinction of having what State Entomologist Johnson declares to be the monster peach tree oí the United States. The big tree is at Napley; the fine estáte of Alan Harrls in the tenacy of Robert Wickes. The trunk is sixty-seven luches in circumference, twenty-two inches in diameter, or about the size of the ordinary kerosene barrel. Three of the limbs are twentytwo inches, twenty-nine inches and thirty Inches in circumference, respectively. The tree is twenty-five years old, is vlgorous and in full bearing.
