Expected the Saline-Ypsi Road Will be Completed Then.

Saline, Mich., July 15. - (Special to Daily Argus). - The master mechanic of the Saline-Ypsilanti road informs us that the road will be completed by Aug. 17, when Washtenaw will celebrating German Day here. The matter of building a bridge over the Ann Arbor road or going a little out of the way and avoid the hill is still in dispute. The car on the road from Ypsilanti to Saline now runs as far as Harwood Comers. It passed Supervisor Case's house for the first time yesterday. Trips are made every 50 minutes, and a number of Ypsilantians rode out to see the country yesterday. The overhead crossing over the Ann Arbor tracks will be a costly job, as it will either require a long bridge or the buying of about five acres as a right of way and one of the farmers who would have to sell expresses his unwillingness to do so.
