Many Eggs Bought

During the past four weeks G. W. Johnson has paid out $10,000 for hen fruit, That amount of money must have purchased a great many dozen.

RETURNED TO THE COUNTY Mrs. Fred Koepfger, Matron of the St Clair County house was here this after noon with one Amelia Smith from the state public school at Coldwater. It seems the girl was taken from the school by a family in St. Clair County and as she did not meet their wants they surrendered her. As she was formerly sent from Washtenaw county, she is now returned here for care. The matron was looking for Superintendent of the Poor Towner, but as he is absent from the city, she went on to Ann Arbor to see Superintendent Mason. The girl is feeble in intellect.
