STATE OF MICHIGAN, County of Washtenaw, ss. At a session of the Probate Court for the County oi Washtenaw, holden at the Probate Office in the city of Ann Arbor. on Monday, the 28th day of August. in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Present, H. WIRT NEWKIRK, Judge of Probate.

In the matter of the estate or Daniel W. Amsden, deceased.

On reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of Lorinda C. Amsden, praying that he may be licensed to mortgage the real estate whereof said deceased died seized.

Thereupon it is ordered that Monday, the 25th day of September next, at 10 o'clock la. the forenoon, be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the heirs at law of said deceased and all other persons interested in said estate are required to appear at a session of said Court, then to be holden at the Probate Office, in the City oi Ann Arbor, and show cause it any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted. And it is further ordered that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estate, of the pendency of said petition, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Argus Democrat, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing.
