ARE AGITATING ANOTHER ROUTE

For Free Rural Mail Delivery.

NORTH OF ANN ARBOR

It Would Wipe Out Four Post-offices and Save the U.S. Money.

T. Quackenbush and Henry Waldron, who live north of this city, were here Saturday taking the preliminary steps for a free rural delivery route, which will take in Dixboro, Geer, Emery and Wordens.

It will make the route 26 1/2 miles long.

If free rural delivery is established for this route it will have the advantage of making the cost to the government less than keeping up the above four postoffices.

There are 226 families on the route, and it is understood that all are in favor of the free delivery system for the district.

An appointment has been made with Congressman Smith to look over the advantages of the route for the introduction of the system.
