SHARON NOTES OF INTEREST

Will Frey, of Norvell, was in town on Saturday.

E. C. Wolf is at Norvell, working in the celery house.

Will Uphaus plays ball with the Manchester team.

Willis Green has been spending a few days in Bridgewater.

Supervisor Wm. F. Hall is able to be about after a brief illness.

Mrs. George Bahnmiller of Norvell, called on friends here on Friday.

Miss Edna Jones, of Norvell, called at E. M. Pierce's on Saturday.

Couch C. Dorr has gone to Texas with another carload of sheep.

We were favored by a fine rain on Monday. It was much needed.

Mrs. Harret Bullard is visiting her son, C. A. Bullard, in Jackson.

Mrs. Omer Nordman has been staying at Frank Trolz's at Wampler's Lake.

Matthew T. Prout had a valuable horse badly injured on a barb wire recently.

F. Maude Goodell has resumed her duties as teacher in the Sharon Hill district.

Mrs. Edwin Green and son Mervin, of Ypsilanti, have been visiting at Thomas Green's.

Martha Kuhl will teach the winter and spring terms of school in District No. 9, Freedom.

Mrs. Mary Spielman of Adrian, accompanied by her children, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Moehn.

Mrs. Edwin Taylor of Traverse City, accompanied by her children, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Trolz.

Richard DuBois has returned from Detroit, where he has been visiting his nephew. D. A. DuBois, and cousin,Dr.  W. C. Stevens.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Trolz have been at Wampler's Lake caring for their sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Trolz, who has been very ill with peritonitis and appendicitis.

Died, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Logan, in Sharon, on Monday, Sept. 11, 1899, of inflammation of the bladder, Dennis VauDuyn, aged 80 years. Deceased was one of the oldest residents of Bridgewater, where he resided on his farm until the death of his wife about a year ago. The interment was at Oak Grove cemetery Manchester.
