Mrs. Myron C. Pierce has returned from a visit with relatives in Shaftsburg.

A. J. Austin of Norvell was in town last week buying stock.

Alfred Tuttle, of Manchester was in town on Thursday.

Mrs. Merrick Burch and Miss Lula Burch, were in Norvell on Thursday.

Addison Kimble is working in the celeryhouse at Norvell.

Mrs. E. M. Pierce is able to be out again by the use of crutches.

Chas. Buss sold his apple crop to Jaeger & Deitle, of Manchester.

Mrs. August Kleinschmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bank Kuhl, died at the home of her parents in Sharon, on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at he age of twenty-three. The funeral was on Thursday and the interment took place at the Rowe Corners Cenetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pierce, of Lima, were the guests of their cousin, E. M. Pierce, on Sunday.

Horace Case and sister, Mrs. Chas. Troop and daughters, Ethel and Edna, spent Saturday and Sunday with their brother, David Du Bois.

Mrs. Omer Nordman will spend the winter with her father Mr. Thurston, at Birketts.

Miss Addie Parks has gone to Ill. to visit her sister, Mrs. Baker.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Smith have been in Chicago.

Mrs. Wilbur Comstock returned to her home in Grass Lake on Sundy, after a brief visit with her sister, Mrs. Charles Pardee.

Clinton Crocker, of Bridgewater, was in town on Sunday.

Mrs. Rachel Du Bois has returned from Milan.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Carpenter and daughter, Blanch. spent Sunday with Mrs. C's. brother, Henry Renan and family.

Bert Mount and sister Gertrude, of Concord, Jackson Co., have been visiting relatives and friends here the past week. Mr. Mount is a student at the U. of M.

George Wacker spent Sunday in Iron Creek

George Kirkwood is about to begin some needed repairs upon the saw-mill at Sharon Hollow.
