Heart Disease Claimed Miss Lottie Greenman.

Third of Her Family

Who Have Succumbed to the Same DiseaseShe Was 15 Years of Age

The pleasures of the Fair Wednesday afternoon were marred by a very sad occurrence which sent a shock through everybody on the grounds.

It was a fatality, with nobody at fault.

As Lottie Greenman, the 15 years old daughter of Isaac Greenman, 1529 Broadway, started to get on a horse in a merry-go-round, she suddenly plunged forward to the ground and expired in a very few minutes. The merry-go round was still at the time, and her precipitation to the ground was the result of heart disease, of which she was the third member of the family to succumb.

Her brother John Greenman died of it about six years ago while running across a vacant lot between Detroit and Division streets and north of Kingsley street.

Her mother died of the same trouble at her home about two years ago.

Lottie was subject to the spells, and one time fell the whole length of the stairs at her home when attacked by dizziness.

When she fell, Wednesday, she was immediately removed to a house near by, but she was beyond all help.

A coroner's inquest was held this morning, and a verdict was returned in accordance with the above facts.
