A Real Home Wedding

Miss Helen Ames Marries Dr. MacDonald.

At 4 o'clock this afternoon a pretty, but quiet wedding was held at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Ames on William street, at which Miss Helen Ames was married to Dr. Neil Sutherland MacDonald, Rev. Dr. McElroy performing the ceremony. Only the immediate neighbors and most intimate friends were present. The house was prettily decorated and the wedding a happy, quiet, sensible one. Dr. and Mrs. MacDonald left on the afternoon train for their new home in Rockland, Mich., near Ontonagon, where Dr. MacDonald is surgeon of the Michigan Mines, followed by the kindly wishes of many friends whom the bride had fastened to her in Ann Arbor.
