Fred Schmid, the man who was so severely injured at the Blaess farm on Lodi plains four weeks ago, died Saturday, aged 39 years. He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral services were held at his late residence Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment in Forest Hill cemetery.
