The D., Y. & A. A. raihvay settled up its cases institutecl by Charles Brandt for persoual injuries and Alfred H. Holmes for damages sustained by blotting out the life of one of his horses. The cases were tried in the jnstice court, and the plantiffs were awarded $75 and $40 respect ively. The railway company appealed to the circuit court. The company lias paid the judgments, and the cases are discontiniaed.
