William Payne, Complainant vs. Minnie Payne, Defendant. Suitpending in the Circuit Courl, for the County of Washtenaw in Chancery, on the 16th day of October, a. d. 1899. In tbis cause it appeariiijf from atfidavit op file, that the Defendant Minnie Puyne is not a resident of this State, but resides at Kingston, Ontario, in Canada, on motion of Randall & Jones. Complaiuant's Solieitors, it is ordered that the 6aid Defendant Minnie Payne cause her appearance to be entered herein, within four months from the date of this order, and in case of her appearance that she cause her an6wer to the Complainant's Bill of Complaint to be filed, and a copy thereof tobe served on said Complainant's Solicitors, within twenty days after service on her of a copy of sa d bill, and notice of tbis order; and that in default thereof, said bill be taken as confessed by the said non-resident defendant. And it is further ordered, that within twenty days the said Complainant cause a notiee of this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Argus-Democrat, a newspaper priritea, published and circulating in said county, and that such publication be contiuued there at least once in each week, for pix weeks in succession, or that he cause a copy of this order to be personally served on said non resident Defendant, at least twenty days before the time above prescribed for her appearance.
