SCHLOSSMAKER LET OFF EASILY
ONLY GOT 30 DAYS FOR HIS SHOOTING SCRAPE.
Charge Changed From Attempt at Murder to Assault and Battery.
William Schlossmaker, who was arrested for attempt at murder on Pierce, of Webster, was let down very easy.
The charge against him was changed to assault and battery, as there was dispute as to whether he could be convicted under the original charge, he claiming that he only shot to scare Pierce.
Schlossmaker pleaded guilty to assault and battery before Judge Kinne yesterday, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
