The M. E. society will hold their first quarterly meeting Dec. 3. Rev. Mr. Davis, of Azalia, will officiate.

F. W. Stimpson, of Detroit, spent Sunday in Milan.

Rev. F. O. Jones has engaged to attend four wedding in one day the last of the week.

Mrs. C. W. Pullen is visiting friends in Flint.

There were union services at the Baptist church,Thursday, at 10 o'clock a. m. The pastor of the Presbyterian church. Rev. George Wilson. delivered the Thanksgiving sermon. Fine music was rendered.

Mrs. Alice Trussell, teacher in the first primary department, is quite ill, and Miss Florence Chapin is filling her place.

Some of the Milanites who entertained Thanksgiving day: Messrs. Blackmer, C. Needliam, Bray, H. J. Zimmerman, Geo. Taylor, M. Wilson, Debenham, C. Sill and many others.

Mesdames J. Gauntlett and M. F. Allen drove to Ypsilanti, Saturday, and went to Aun Arbor via motor line.

Born, Nov. 23d, to Mr. and Mrs. A. Vedder, a son.

Born, Nov. 25, to Mr. and Mrs. C. Head, twins - son and daughter.

A fine program was rendered at the national social at the O. E. S. parlors, Thanksgiving evening.

C. T. Sill is having his house painted.

G. R. Williams is quite ill.

A. Mesic is entertaining guests from out of town.

Milton Crane, who has been quite ill, is dow convalescent.

The Model Hoop Factory is a fine thing for Milan, as it will employ a number of hands and add a number of families to our already thriving  village.

Mrs. O. A. Kelley and daughter are  expected home from New York in a few days.

Hack, Hauser & Co. have sold 110,000  pounds of wool this year.

Milan school has over 300 pupils, and more room and another teacher ought  to be added to the crowded school.

The Baptist ladies will hold their sea social at Mrs. J. C. Rouse's residence on County Street Wednesday afternoon.
