Let Canfield's Long Vaction

The following dispatch will be of interest here: Lansing, Mich., Dec. 12. – Railroad Commissioner Osborn bas decided to discontinue the work of wire inspection throughout the state from Jan. 1 to May 1, and the services of three wire inspectors – John E. Jones, Andrew DeBoer and Lester H. Canfield – will be dispensed with. The office force will also be diminished by the dismissal of Miss Dora Larooy, stenographer, of Grand Rapids.
