SUNDERLAND
HAS ACCEPTED
Says the Detroit Free Press: "Rev.
J. T. Sunderland, one of the oldest
Unitarian ministers in the country,
has accepted the call extended him by
Highgate Unitarian church, of Lon-
don, England, and will leave Saturday
afternoon for London, via New York
to take charge of the above church.
Dr. Sunderland with his wife and fam-
ily is at present stopping at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. Dr. Homer E.
Safford, of 22 Warren avenue west.
The clergy here speak of him in the
highest terms, and Rev. Lee S. McCol-
lester declared last night that he is one
of the finest men he ever had the for-
tune to know. Mrs. Sunderland will
not accompany her husband Saturday,
but will go to England later on."
