Delhi Mills.

The entertainment given by the Sunday school of Delhi at the spacious home of Mrs. N. F. Estabrook on Friday, Dec. 22, was a success socially. The program consisted of songs, recitations and dialogues, and, after the exercises, bags of candy, pop-corn and nuts were given to the children.

Mrs. David Wittit, of Detroit, is spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Litchfield.

The Misses Cora and Mammie Ryan, of Northfield, spent Sunday at H. Davis'.

Our school is closed for the holidays. It will recommence Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Miss Mary Cowder, of Jackson, formerly of Delhi, is visiting o!d friends here.

Rev. Hicks, of Dexter, preached a very interesting sermon in the Delhi Sunday school last Sunday. There will be preaching every other Sunday during the winter, commencing at 2:30 p. m.

Miss Hattie Dayton has gone to Detroit to visit her parents.

E. Litchfield, wife and little daughter, Josephine, of Bay City, are visiting at F. Litchfield's.

Mrs. Wm. Downer is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Cavanaugh in Sharon.
