Merry Christtnaa has come and gone again, and with t inany merry gatherings. The fourth annual Christmas gatbering of the faniüy of Orson Packard was held at the house of hisson-in-IawTheron Wickoff, in the township of Saline, on Christmas day. The number of friends asserabled was twenty-three. After the usual excrcises of singing and prayer were gone through with, then carne the distribution of presents, which consisted of' a silver watch and chain, silvcr spoons, gold pen, silver castor, crockery, bedquilts, dresses, gloves, caps, etc., with numerous toys for the little folks ; after which camo what we all like, the dinner, which was dispatched with relish. Everything passed offipludidly- not a jar or discord marred the occasion, and all seemed as happy as a merry Christmas could tnako them. May they all live to enjoy many such scènes. SUBSCIUHER.
