The following resolutions of condolence, on the death of Jiro. Joshua Forbcs, which occurrod at his rcsidouce, in the township of Saline, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, February 10, 1880, werc adopted by the No. 8 Reform Club and Saline Central Lyceum, at a recent union meeting : Wiiereas, It has ploasod our Heavenly Fathcr, in Ilis i)rovidcnce, to remove by death our Brother, Joshua Forbes ; thcrefore, Resolved, That in bis death our clubs have lost an efficiënt worker, the cominunity an industrious and enterprising citizen, his family a wise counselor, and lus wite a kind and affectionate husband. Resolved, That, while we mourn the loss of a Brother, we would extend to bis griefstricken family our heartfelt sympathy in this their sad bereavement. Resolved, That, in token of this sad bereavement, the members of the clubs wear crape f'or thirty days. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be givèn to the bereaved family ; also spread upon the records of the clubs, and copies sent to the ternperance paper, viz : The Morniog, and to the county papers, for publication.
