Law And Dental Commencements

The annual commencement of the law departmeot of Michigan University, occurred Wedncsday, of this week, in Univereity Hall, comuienoing at 10} o'clock a. nj. A large and appreciative audience assembled to listen to the exercises, which consisted of the conferring of the degree of LL. B. upon 175 graduales, including two ladies, and an address to the class by ilon. James V. Campbell, LL. D., Marshall Prof. of law in the University. Music was furnished by Speil's orchestra from Detroit. The address of Judge Campbell wasone of great interest to the young gentlemen about entering upon their professioD, and an effort of much merit. The commencement of the COLLEGE OP DENTAL SURdERY occurred in the afternoon, the exercises commencing at 2i o'clock. The degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery was conferred upon 34 graduates. The address to the graduates wasdelivered by J. A. Robinson, D. D. S., of Jackson, Mich., and music furnished by the same orchestra which entertained the morning audience so well. Among the graduates was one lady, Mrs. Alma W. E. Fuellgraff, of Elmshorn. Hstein, Germa-ny ; alo onc gentleman froni Manchester, Eugland.
