Dr. W. S. Zigenfuss, of Dexter, dropped into our sanctum, sanctcrum, day-beforeyesterday. Mrs. John F. Miller, formerly of this place, but now of Washington, D. C, is in the city. l'r. O. C. Lyon, of Jackson, was in the city lant Wcdnesday, and a caller at the Coubier office. John W. B. Crinns, of Detroit, called at this office last Wednesday. He reports the republicans of Wayne county in high spirits, and confidently predicts the election of the Ilon. Henry W. Lord, to congress, from Wayne county.
