Eastwood, a gradúate of Michigan Uuiversity, class of '71, who bringH to his work all the skill andenergy of an enthusiaat, ina broad and faseinating field of labor. He has just added to his working apparatus one of the finost mieroscopes in the country, and proposes to make analytical chemistrj', as applied to local agriculture, a feature of the college. The Hon. James A. Garfield, premdentelect, is one of the trustees of this college.
