Johh Daniel Allardyce, the subject of thls notlce, dled on Sunday mornlng, Nov. 7. 1880, after a very brief illness. He was the gon of Joseph Allardyce, deceased, and Mrs. Margaret Allardyce, who is now living In Ann Arbor. The famlly formerly resided In Greenoak Townshlp, County of Bruce, Canada. The deceased was In hls twentleth year, had usually eujoyed good health, was lndustrlous and promlstng, and seemed destlned to take hls lamented fnrther's place as the head and protector of the famlly. But how mysterlous are the ways of Provldence ! God has called the young man to follow the brother, who was summoned ten month.s ago, tliat both may have thelr llves fully rounded In another sphero. Here we rear the broken shaft to typify hls untlmely end, but the Qreat Bullder will assuredly Hnlsh, In hls own good time and place, what he has here begun. The wldowed mother, the two devoted sisters, and the survlvlng young brother have the sympathy of Chrlstlan frlends here, far away Irom thelr forraer home. They have also the consolatlon of knowing that the Divine Belng, who is dealIng wlth tbem Is a God of love, and that He doeth all thlngs well.
