Pioneer Meeting

I he meeting of the Vi ashtenaw county pionoer society at Ypsilanti, last Wedr.esday was Iargely attended, and was an intereating event. The meeting was held in the Baptist ofaarbb, and the refreshnients served in the Presbyterian chureh, by the ladies of Ypsilanti and adjoining townsbips. Supplie9 for the table were brought in for miles around, by the farmers and their wives and daughters, and it is but faint justice to say the dinner was a magnificent one. The warm shake of the hand that we received from many whom we had nevermet, and the frequent utterance : "God bless you for your efForts to save the innocent and punish the guilty," was very pleasing to us. We wish all the good people of Ypsilanti many years of happy lifo.
