We publish an article in this issue of the Coirier from the Detroit Kvening News, entitled "Michigan in thecabinet," whieh indicates pretty elearly that our state is to le represented in the cabinet of President Garfield. Mr. Newberry, the gentleman of whom mention is made, is a gradúate of the university of Michigan, a gentleman of fine personal attractions, excollent mental abilities, and possesses a peculiar tact for business, of which but few men can boast.
