Mr. Renwiek died in 1863, and his widow survivedhim about 18 years. I bave said that Mrs. Renwiek was a meinber of the Methodist church in the state of New York, let me state also that she joined the first church which was establiihed in Salem, and was a meinber of it when she died. That church was Congregational in doctrine. Three children and eight grand children survive the deeeas.cl. The first montionod are Mary Ann Wynkup, of this city, John W. llenwk'k and George N. B. Renwiek, of Salem. She had great aft'ection for her chÜdren and grandchildren, and they were au strongly attached to her, and although ihe was so aged, they will surely mi.-s her, and deeply inourn their loss. But her own family will not be the only mourners, for she was held in high esteetn and great respect by all who knew her. She was a woman of more than common abilitie?, and although the infirmities conimon to old age had impaired her bodily strength, yet her mind was full of cnerííy and uneloudcd almost to the duy of her dcath. Mother Renwiek has lived a long, useful and Christian lifc, but at last the shadow of death has encireled her ; she lias rraclu'l the other shon' and is at re.-t.
