One of the happy events which sprinkle our livos with picasure, and are held in meniory as "half-way houses on the road to heaven," as the poet expresses it, occurred last erening at the residence of Densuiore Cramer, Esq., the occasion being the marriage of his daughter Miss Isiuene Cramer, with Byron S. VVaite, of Lansing, Rev. Dr. B. F. Cocker, of the university officiating, assisted by Rev. J. Alabaster, of the M. E. Church. The assemlled guests consisted of relatives and a very few intímate friends, and was not a formal affair. The bride is a young lady of rare worth and intelligence, who has lived among ua from infancy, and drawn around her innumerable friends who unite in wishing that the future, which looks so brilliant now, uiay never have its luster dnged. She is a gradúate of both our high school and the university, conipleting her college course with the class of '80. The groom is ako a gradúate of the university, of the same class, and it was while pursuing their studies here that the attachment was formed which last evening culuiinated so happily.
