One of the best lady booaekeepen of Ypsilanti had been badly annoyed with bed bugs for a loug time. Lcarniug that sulphur set on lire would kill them, she thought to try the experiment. Ia-st Friday she procured a six quart pan. filleil it with sulphur, set it on Ure, placed it uniler the bed, and closed the bedroom door. The remedy worked charuiingly. There was soon a great commotion about that house ; flre bella were rung and englnes came out. They succeeded in saving a portion of the house and some of the furniture, but the boya were all killed.
