At a special meeting of Vigilant flrc 'ompany, held Friday, June 3tl, 1881, the following preanible and rcsolutions were unaniruously adopted: Whkrkas, It has pleased Divine Providence to remove from our midst our frlend and corarade, Jullus August Uraf, and In view of the os we liave sustalned, and the stlll heavler ustalned by those who were nearest and dearest to hlm, tlierefore, be lt Resolved, That lt Is but a Just tribute to the in ri-Krettlng hls removnl from our midst we niourn for one who was in every way worthjof our profound rcspeci and esteem. ReêolveJ, That we sincerely comióle with the fainlly of the deceased on the dlspensatlon wlth which lthas pleased Divine Providence to afflu-t them, and commeud them for cousolatlon to Hlm who orders all thlugs.
