Mrs. Gilbert Bliss is vieiting In Detroit. M. J. Fritz, olerk in the Bavlngs Bank, is sick. Mr. Frank Emerick, of Alpenu, is attending circuit court in thiscity. Mrs. Dr, Franklin, after several montlis recreation at Indian River, has returned to the city, Mr.H. Eirarbroad, editor and proprietor of the Dundee Reporter, dropped in upon us on Tuesday last. Mr.W. F. Warren, of the Custom House, New York City, is visiting liis son-in-law, Mr. A. L. Noble of this city. Mrs. Marcus Wilner, of New York, md her son Lieut. Frank A. Wilner of U. S. Navy, are visiting Mr?. Henry DeProe of Pittsliekl. Mis. H. W. Calklns, of South Lyons, paid a visit to her mother and sister, Mrs. and Miss MeMames of this city, on Wednesday last. Miss Alice Richardeon, daugbttr of Mrs. Spenee of tliis city, returned on Tuesday from a four months visit in Massachusetts and New York. Rev. A. 8. Kedzie, formerly pastor nftho Congregational cliureh at Dexter, present editor of the Grand Haven Herald, paid us a pleasant visit last Weilnesilay. Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Lerch, of Detroit, spent last Sunday in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Lerch will spend several days with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Taylor. Miss. Carric Newell, of New Brtinswick, N. Y., niece of Governor Newell of V 'asJi[ngton Territory, is spending a few weeks on a visit to her class-mate Miss K. Fannie Steele. Mrs. Rhoda Fuller, tlie uiother-in-law of Judge Lawrence ot tliis city, has gone to the state of New York, on a visit to rolatives and friends.
