Kilward Osiander, of Lansing.spent a day liere with hia sister recently. Edward Corselius, of Midland, ia spending a few days with his mother in thia city. Thos. Keech, confined to liis homo for several days past, is reported to be improving. Andrew Schmid, of Detroit street has been contined to his house for the past ten days. Ex-Alderman C. J. Gardner starts for Caaad;i on Monday to pay a visit to his parents. Jerome A Freeman was a del├ęgate to the Grand Lodge of Ihe Ancient York Masons, held at Kalamazoo, December 5th. Mrs. Parker and Miss Hascall, of Ypsilauti, paid their sister, Mrs. Geo. Moore, a short visit this week and took in the Presbyterian fair. Mrs. Robeson and Mi-8. Ludlow, both of Port Huron, are here to spend t,he holidays. Their husbands are expected here in a few days. These ladies will be remembered as l;mrliters of John Moore, Mr. E. J. Knowlton has jiist returned from a trip through Kentucky and Tenjiessee. While away lie disposed of five car loads.of four orlive hundred biishels each, of ouions, it butter price than lie can get here.
