The ïiext day he started for lowa. Miss Gertle Noble and Miss Siisie L-.unb or Ypsilanti are visiting at Air. N. W. Cueever'a. Mis. Esther Grisson has goue to Albany, New York. Mr. and Mrs. George Knight are passing some time iu Lansing this winter. Miss S. T. Speechly, of Ann Arbor, visited at the Misses Gilletts the firat of the week. - Saline Observer. Josepli B. Williams, who formerly Hved here, and was iu the post-office for a time is now in business in Stieldon, Dakota. ltev. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Reed have been at Prof. Stowell's caring for kim in liis illness. Mr. Reed has returned to üwosso. Judite llarriman and Mr. B. F. Watts were iu Kalamazoo Wednesday and Thursday iu attendance upon tlie annual sessiou of the Masonie Grand Lode of the State. Joe T. JacoÉis Saturday was called to Newark, Ohio, by the suddeu sickness and subseqnent Ueath of bis step-mother, Mis. Eliza Jacobs. She was Tüyearsold and the funeral was at Mount Vernon, Sunday.
