Mr. Potter died at hls home in thls city I Sundayevening, of a nomplicatlon of I ses, the liver prlncipally belng aflected, He I was taken Blek in Kansas last suramer, and I in the faĆ¼ was brought home. Hope had long I sincebeen given up by the doctors, but by I hls strength of wlll he fought the disease for I a long time. He was born April 17, 1837, in I Lima, and lived in the conuty untii ten or I twelve years ago, when lie went to Farwell I aad kept a hotel. About foor years ago he I went luto stock-raising in Kansas. In I ter he was in the banking and tnllllng I ness, under the drm name of Oregory, Phelps I & Potter. He was a prominent niember of I the Knights Templar, and at the funeral, I which tak es place thls afternoon at 2 o'clock, I at St. Andrews' church, the exerclses wlll be I under the ausplces of the Ann Arbor Com I mandery with the Masona as escort. His I brother from Kansas and his sister,Mrs. G. E. I Southwick, of Detroit, Wtre present. He I leaves a wife and three daughters. :
