Hoag of FifeLake (Mich.) is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dancer. The masquerade social under the auspicesof 'the Literary society was a grand success, and was heartily enjoyed by all. Forest Buchanan and wife formerly of this place, but nowof Jackson, are spending a few days here visiting their many friends. S. Seeney athriving and energetic }roung man of this vicinity left last week for Corning, New York, where be intendi learning the machinist trade. We wish him success in hls new undertaking.
