SCHAIBLE. -.Tohana Friederika Schaible died May 25, aged 23 yrs. 11 mouths RETTICH.-Frederick Kettich, son of P. Retticli. Jr., of the Second ward, d.ed Has Jüth, of diphtheria, aged 5 montlis. Obitiiary. PACKAUD-Khoda Packard, wife of Ürson Packard, died Aprll 22, 1883. Deceased was bom in Vermont, countyof Windham, and town of Strattan, August 27, 1806, and come to the State of New York when' quite young. She was married to Orsou Packard Ín Macedón, Wayne Co., of that State, April 23, 1828. Tliey carne to Michigan in thé spring of 1830, and made a home in the then wilderness, where she continued to reside until death. She was converted in the year 1835 and in 1841 her husband embraced religión. Iheywere among the pioneers who formed the Wesleyan chnreli, the convention meeting for that purpose belug held on the southeast corner of thelrfarm in Salem, Washtenaw county, in the spring of that year. She remained a failhful and consistent member of said church uutil her flual release. She was a great suflerer with dropsical rheuina tlsra for over two years. but bore up under it with Chrlstian patlenee and entire resignatlon lo the Divine wlll. Her end was peace She leaves a sorrowing husband with whora she shared the tolls and confiicts of life for 55 years who looks forward with joyful antlcipatlon to the reunión in the Heaveuly home She ieft two sons and twodaughters grown to inanhood and womanhood.
