From our Regular Correspondent. Moscow, May 24, 1883. To-morrow, being the eve of tlie coronation, will present two features of interest. In the mornlng the transporting of the Imperial insignia from the Chamber of Arnis to the Throne Itoom will take place. This will be a very ceremonious affalr. A procession, preceded bjr a detachment of Grenadiers, and with the two heralds bringing up the rear, will convey the insignia in the following order : The collar of St. Andrew, the Imperial Glaive, the Banner of the Empire, the Sea! of the Empire, the purple mantle of the Empresa' the Imperial Globe, the Sceptre. the smaller Imperial Crown, the larger Imperial Crown. On the arrival of the procession at the palace, it will be met by the Court dignitaries, and pass on to the Throne Room, where the Grand Marshal will take each artiele from the bearers and place it on a table to the right of the Throne. In the afternoon a special service will be held in the church of St. Saviour, behind what is known a3 the Golden G rating. All the ehief civil and ecelesiastical dignitaries will attentl. At six o'clock solemn vespers will be sung. The Czar and Czarina and most of the Imperial íamily will be present. Alter the vespers the Metropolitan of Moscow will olVer a special prayer. The heralds to-day repeated the solemn amioiincement of the Coronation, and this ceremony will also be repeated to-morrow. The series of fetes to be given In celebration of the coronation will not really begin until after Sunday's ceremony is over. On Monday there is to be a ball at the Imperial palace; on Tuesday the Czar and Czarina will be present at a ball given by the Governor General of Moscow; on Wednesday their Majesties go to the opera where there is to be a gala performance, and on Thursday to the Nobles' club, where a ball is to take place; on Friday is the Diplomatic ball at the Germán Ambassador's which their Majesties have promised to attend; and the great popular fete takes place on Saturday in an open space near the Petroft'sky palace. The greatest precautions have been taken to prevent this last fete, which promisesto be both magnificent and picturesque from being marred by any unpleasant consequences. Today M. de Giers, the Minister for foreign aflalrs, holds a reception of all the Ambassadors Extraordinary,the members of the regular diplomatic body, and all the great State and Court dignitaries,the principal object of the reception beingto establish acquaintance between the various foreign representativea and the Russian notabilities. There is no incident of any kind to report. The city is perfectly undisturbed. The measure3 taken by the pólice are well devised and effective, all unnecessary display of force being avoided.
