Last weck it was dangerous for a lone f reshman or sophomore to bp out after dark, as the enemy were on the war path, and had an awfully sudden way at times ofsending each otherover tbe fence. A freshman took things cooly the other night, who was caught outby the sophs with his gloves and best hat on, when he asked for time to remove them. When they were taken off he submitted to the elevation. Thia is in quite a contrast to the sophomore who became panic-struck while making a cali on some young ladies one evening recentty. He heard the yell and saw dark shadowsglidingalong thestreet, and became possessed with so much fear that he begged the ladies to go home with him. So taking pity on his condition tour of them escorted him home. Verilylife at a University is attended wijh many stirring incidente.
