As tlie lots referred to were procured at a cost of about $3,000, it will be seen that ilready the subscriptions exceed the purchase amount. The balance goes hito the general improvement fund, we believe. At the masquerade ln Armory Hall Friday night, the prizes were awarded as follows : First prize, John Coleman,Ann Albor, silver cup and saucer; second prsze, C. O. Chase, Detroit, silver Dspkln ring mounted on two fans; third prize, Miss Nellie Mole, this city, gold-lined mug. Will Hatcli, Fred Wallace and Kobt. Burnett made up the comniittee awarding the prizes.
