Chas. V. Wines, of Clielseii, was lu the city yesterday. Mrs. Wm. Noble returnetl Friday from an eastern trip. Warren Babcock, of Mdan, was In the City last Tuesday. James Robinson is on J. J's. farm in Sharon for a few weeks. Miss Eftie Scndan, of Webster, spent last week in the city witli friends. J. H. Conway, wife and Miss Leslie left for Toledo, Ohio, yesterday aflernoon. Win. Emmert, Ji. editor of the Chelsea Herald, was in the city yesterdnv, and paid us a short visit. Mrs. J. S. Morton, net Miss Allie Goodrich, of this city, Is reported seriously ill at her home in Detroit. E. EL Guiñan, of Hack & Sehmids', lelt fbrSagtnaw last Saturday to be gone on a several days'tiip. Loud and wife, of Oscoda, Mich., attended the funeral of Mr. Gay, whose death occurred last week. Miss C. L Huggins, who ha3 been in Mansfleld, O., for some time, returned to the city this week for a ten clays" stay. Slie is the guest of Mrá. Gen. Huiit, State street. A brother of E. W. Eede, '83, visited In the city a few days last week. He is from Kinjrsville, Out., and expected to j leave Moiulay to attend the Ice Cainival at Montreal this week. Mr. Hiram Miner, of Sylvanini Ohlo, carne up by Toledo on Monday, to spend seyeral days in the city with relatives. Wliile here he paid a visit to friends at Ypsilanti. He left for home yesteiday ! afternooii. Dr. J. Bell, in attendance at the State Veterinary Atsociation at East Saginaw, on Tuesday of this week, was made Corresponding Secietary for the coming year.
