Browbcating lawyers somotimes find their match in female witnesses. We recall an instance in which a nicmber of the Charleston (S. C.)Bar, Colonel H- , was quietly but eft'ectually "squelched" hy a lady whose evidence was verv damaging to bis cliënt.
