David Swing, of Chicago, will lecture Thursday evening, Miy ], in University Hall, on "The Uaeful and the Beautiful.1' TI1Í3 lecture will be tinder the auspices of the Lecturo Assojiation, and Prof. öwlng will take the place of Mr. Watterson on tlie recular course. Prof. Swing is noted as a wltty, profound and tkoroDghly original tbinker. He presents his thonghts in plaill and Imple laníiiaíre, yet with a power and forcé whicli aro peouliarly his own. Iür lecture on "The Uaefu] and the BfiHUtlful" Is hlfrhly spuken of by the Chiclnnatl papers, where it was recently delivered.
