The men then went to tht houso of Amos Brackenstross, threequaiteru of a uiilo distant, and toteed au entrance. The noise awakencl linickenstross, and as he rose iu bed he was shot tliroiigh tlie Iieart. The house was robbed of seventy-tliree dollars. Two men suspeeted of the crime have been arrested ne.'ir (leneva and lodged in jail ut Blullton, Wells County.
