Thursday last the County Clerk received from the Stilte Superiiiteiident of Public Instruetion the apportionment of the primary school interest f umi f'or 1HS4 among the different towns and cities uf tliia county. $1.31 per capita is the rate. It may be au item of general interest to know tliat the wholc nurüber of chililren in the State between the ages of live and twenty years is 500,030, but the apportlonment is made on "5T,7!), the differanoe of 3,3öl being children residing In district that have nol complied with the law concerninjr the maintenance of scliools. $730,813.06 is the entire auiount of the fu:id disti-ibuted throughoqt the eiglity eoiuities of the State.
