To-nirht nt the Catholic church, at eiglit o'clock, Eev. Jas. G. Walshe, tí. J., of Detroit, lectures on " The Marriage fie." At tlie roller skating rink next Friday night ft Grand M asquerade Tarty will be given. A Detroit costumer will be out Friday morning and can be found at the St. .lame?. The June meeting of the Washtenaw Pomologic.il Society will be postponed to the 14th of June at 2 o'clock p. m., In the court house, in order to have an exhibit of strawberrie?. The following varieties are expected: Wilson, Sharpless, Bidwell, Manchester, Daniel Boon, Crescent, (Japt. Jack, Woodruff Nos. 1 and 2, Mt. Vernon, James Vick, Big Bob and other varieties. A full meeting of the members, with the request to make the exhibit a success is solicited, as the merits of the diflerent varieties will be discussed. Ladies and gentlemen are cordially invited.
