Colinden be amusement was liad bv the crowd on the campus ycsterJay afternoon in witnessing the game of base ball between the "Dudes'' on Mala street and the Bicycle club. Tliere was soine heavy slugg-injr, lots of yelling, and the man who tried to count errors took lo tlie woods before the third inning-, but if he had been there on the fourth he certainly would have hang himself In despair. Several times the ball was knockcd so far thatthe project of nioving the Medical building back out of (langer began to be consideied. The ahirmiiig curves of the pitchers kept the batters busy thinking whioh way they had better jump while two coons became exhausted in chasing the ball over the f e nee back of tlie catchers. Some bnse running was made dasliinrly at the lalo of il tnile u lioui lulm c or less, usually less- while the basemen found it too waini a day to fooi with hot balls. The latter part of the game, howvter, it became decidedly f rigid for the wheelinen and they begau to play much better.
